Our 2004
Merlot
is soft
and jammy.
It is
rich
with
ripe5
black
fruit
notes of
blackberry
and
cherry.
The
wine’s
barrel
select aging
resulted
in soft
vanilla
and
toasty
oak
flavors,
as well
as a
hint of
spice
and a
mild
chocolate
finish. |

|
The
grapes
for our
Merlot
were
gently
processed
in order
to
capture
their
fruit
flavor.
The wine
went
through malolactic
fermentation,
which
reduced
its
total
acidity
levels
and
resulted
in a
softer,
more
complex
wine.
The
blend
was then
barrel
aged for
over six
months
in both
American
and
European
oak.
Exposure
to oak
enhanced
the
vanilla
and oak
notes in
the
wine. |
